1955 NASH Rambler In Sweden.

Both cars owned by Karl-Erik Willander #8048

This photo is from Arkösund just 50 meters from where the Willander family lives. The SMV-trailer is made in 1963 in Örebro (really a very popular trailer those days). Both Ramblers (from in 1955) have the same kind of engine, 90 hp 6 cylinder side valve engines. They have gone less than10000 swedish miles before restoration. (About 59000 eng miles I think). The Hudson engine was in a very bad condition and so was also the body. The Nash engine was a bit better but its body was very rusty. Both cars had very fine interior. Their upholsteries were almost as new. But Karl-Erik and his wife Karin made new ceilings to both cars. All inner metal parts as panels and so on have the original color. Nothing is done with those parts. In the background you can see the Hudson Rambler. Karl-Erik bought it from Varberg a town on the swedish West coast. The other, the coral red one comes from northern Sweden. Do I´ve to tell that Karl-Erik has been awarded the first prize several times.
