Lee started stunt driving in 1935. In 1949 he introduced Nash automobiles in his performances. Over 100 pictures (not all Nash)within the 128 pages of this soft cover book. The stunts performed by the Nash cars are incredible. Imagine a Nash jumping a distance of 142 feet! He purchased the cars from Nash Motors and at the end of the season he sold them to the public. Yours may be one of them. The text describes his experiences from the early days of 1935 until his retirement in 1955. Some cars were used for every show, however there were junkers used for the crash sequences. He totalled 17,981 cars doing that! Loretta and I visited with "Lucky" many times before his death in 2000. I have an extensive collection of his memoribilia, including pictures and cd's. This ad is for the book, if interested in other items please email me. These books are new/unsold. Price of the book is $8.00 (cover price $14.95) plus shipping of $4.80. Drivetrain is excellent! Fires right up, runs very smooth. Rebuilt brakes all around with new steel brake lines. Has 12 volt battery and generator installed and still have the 6 volt generator. Still using the 6 volt starter with no issues. Gas tank has been cleaned and coated. Radiator has been rebuilt and is ready to go. Body is extremely solid for a nearly 68 year old car! All glass is there with only the front passenger window having cracks. Doors open and close tighter than some much newer cars. Outer shell is pretty much rust free. There are some surface rust areas and a couple of spots on the lower corner of both rear doors. Drivers side floor pan needs replaced but rest are pretty solid. Drivers side Rocker panel near rear seat needs work. Trunk pan is solid except for area closest to rear bumper. Most of the body chrome and molding is present, some on the car, some in the trunk. The interior is mostly all there but needs major work. Overall a solid foundation for a unique classic automobile for someone with the time and skills to make it happen. Have lots of pictures and can arrange to be seen in person. If seen in person, can be started up and driven(we drive it on our dead end road). Asking price is $3500 but is or best offer.
